She tells me the manuals, checklist and flight model are spot on.
Fsx Dash 8 Movie File IntoThis tool allows you to demultiplex (split) a PSS movie file into its component MPEG2 Video and WAV Audio streams, and multiplex (join) an MPEG2 Video and WAV Audio stream into a PSS movie file.Hi from Germany Im using the PSS Dash8 in FS2004 with ISG Gauges. The Main Problem is, the PSS gauge are included in big Bitmaps. The effect is that the 2 gauges at the same position are flickering. I concur with the previous poster: Currently there is no turboprop simulation for FSX which rivals PMDGs excellent product. Well, unfortunately I think it is below average, even for FS9 freeware standards. Before I learned about decent payware models, I got scarred by the unrealistic flight models of those aircraft. The Twin Otter being especially atrocious (Flaps down one notch, nose goes up 90 degrees - really). The homepage is also highly confusing to me: I always had trouble finding the right downloads and corresponding updates. About the Majecstic Dash: For a lot of money you get a really good and deep system simulation with visuals rivalling of a FS2002 freeware aircraft. The virtual cockpit was comparable to that of the PSS Dash8 but they may have improved it after I last checked. IIRC there are no navdata updates so you are stuck with flying using outdated FMS data. I also remember that switching between VC and no-VC models required a reinstall, the load manager was quite basic. In a time when PMDG and others already implemented complex and useful configuration programs, the Majestic equivalent was sorely lacking. You may also want to check out their forums and check out the tone in there before purchasing. They may have improved, but a few years ago (when their Dash came out) the moderators were acting like a bunch or arrogant twats, showing lots of disrespect and condescending behaviour towards their customers. To sum it up, if you like really comprehensive simulations, dont care for visuals and dont mind being left alone with setup problems, the Majestic Dash may be for you. If you prefer good simulation AND good visuals, as well as excellent customer support then PMDG would be preferable. Yeah I kinda choked when I saw the price of the Majestic one. So Ive scrapped that idea, will most likely run with the PMDG JS41 until they get their Dash up. I cant of course say for you, but after reading this thread and doing some checking I purchased the E 49.99 Majestic Dash 8 and am very happy. Helene has just written the first book in a romantic suspense series. BORDER PROTECTION. The heroine, Morgan is a Captain on the Dash 8 300 with a fictional Border Protection agency.
